With the help of these skills, small rural businesses will be able to exploit the ICT opportunities and manage their work in a more efficient way while also achieving cost savings. Digital tools and methods will be introduced which support the workflow, time and financial management such as project management, task manager, accounting tools or online banking functions.

Learning materials on e-commerce skills

The virus is expected to have a long-term impact on consumer shopping habits and can accelerate the shift to online retail, since, according to a recent study, those who mostly choose online shopping in the pandemic period will continue to buy online after the crisis. The learning materials will focus on how to deal with the obstacles of starting to sell products and services online: inter alia, online customer service, payment methods, logistics, rights & responsibilities and online marketing. All the major information needed in order to start an e-commerce market will be covered.

Learning materials on climate adaptive entrepreneurial knowledge

Climate change affects both the demand and the supply side. Floods, mudslides, landslides, soil erosion are just few of the risks that businesses face due to the climate change. #keepup project aims to facilitate the preparedness of SMEs and point out the importance of enhancing awareness-raising about climate change and its consequences and the necessity of increasing the motivation to participate in adaptation and mitigation.

An online learning platform will be developed in the project which will be available on this website.
